SQY Therapeutics wins the Innovation Award at the 2026 Entrepreneurs Yvelines Awards

SQY Therapeutics received the Innovation Award at the 2026 Entrepreneurs Yvelines Awards during a ceremony organised by CPME 78 on 1 October at the Vélodrome National in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Presented by Crédit Mutuel, the award recognises the innovative nature of its projects and its contribution to the region’s economic and scientific vitality.

The award ceremony took place as part of “L’Évènement by CPME 78”, a major business gathering for entrepreneurs in the Yvelines. This business event brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, institutions, elected representatives and local partners to meet, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration.

This latest recognition follows the “Pépite industrielle de demain” award (Tomorrow’s Industrial Rising Star), presented by Caisse d’Épargne Île-de-France on 27 November 2025 during “Territoires & Industrie”, organised by L’Usine Nouvelle and La Gazette des communes as part of SQY Business Day.

Founded on academic research conducted at the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, SQY Therapeutics has been based in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines since its creation in 2015. The company is developing a unique technology platform based on antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), molecules designed to alter how cells process certain genetic messages, with the ambition of offering a new therapeutic approach for rare diseases with no treatment options.

Its most advanced programme, targeting Duchenne muscular dystrophy, is in clinical development. Other research programmes aim to extend this approach to additional targets and diseases.

These two awards honour the work of the entire team and highlight the role of healthcare biotechnology within the scientific and economic ecosystem of the Yvelines.

SQY Therapeutics thanks the organisers, the jury and Crédit Mutuel for this recognition, as well as its partners and supporters, who help advance its projects for the benefit of patients.
